Qasr Al – Hons –
The Qasr Al Hasan is known as the symbolic birthplace and the oldest stone building in Abu Dhabi. Established as a watchtower in 1761 by Sheikh Dhiyab Bin Isa, Qasr Al Hasan is also deemed as the first permanent structure built in the emirate of Abu Dhab.The museum is located at Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum street, AL Hosan, Abu Dhabi.
Zayed National Museum –
The Zayed National Museum is built in the memory of the UAE’s founding president, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It is drafted by the Pritzker prize winning architect lord Norman Foster. This Abu Dhabi museum is located in saadiyat island, Abu Dhabi.
Al Ain National Museum –
The Al Ain National Museum is known as the oldest museum in the UAE which was built by the former UAE president, late Sheikh Zayed bin Al Nahyan. The museum is divided into two parts, ethnographic part and archaeological part. The ethnographic part displays different phases of their life such as birth, education, marriage and working life. On the other side, the archaeological part displays the old objects(antique) related to the ancient ages in a chronological order. The museum is located on the east side of Al Ain oasis, near the Murabba roundabout.
Manarat Al saadiyat –
This museum is located on saadiyat island and has now become a popular cultural spot for the visitors. The museum has multiple galleries and rotating exhibitions that illustrate the concept of art, science and culture. It is spread across 15,400 square meters and also contains artificial retail store which offers a unique collection of products and books.
Women’s Handicraft centre –
The women’s handicraft center is a small Museum run by the Abu Dhabi women’s association. It displays the skills of the local artists in the form of art and crafts. The female artists prepare several products such as handmade souvenirs, incense and local dresses. You must ask for permission to capture photos here. Also, the visitors are required to remove shoes before entering the workplace.
